I watched Hillary's victory speech after routing Obama in West Virginia. Billed by her supporters as one of the greatest political speeches of all time, if excellence in wishful thinking was the criterion I'd give her an A plus. I have to give her credit because of the three candidates she proved that if evil space monsters bent on the subjugation of earth ever invade us and need a foil to get the population to lay down their arms and becoming willing slaves, I'd say Hillary is their girl.
Talk about being able to weave a convincing speech out of threads of wishful thinking.
Let's say earth is about to be invaded and have the entire population wiped out if our military forces try to fight back. We all will be spared if we succumb willingly and allow the aliens to take over peacefully and enslave us.
Who better to give the following speech?
My fellow Americans, today space ships appeared over Washington, D.C., New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, London, Paris, Rome, Moscow, Sidney and at least a dozen other large cities around the world.
Within the hour the leader of the extra-terrestrial delegation was in contact with me by radio and we arranged the face to face meeting in the Oval Office which just concluded.
The leader, who was trustworthy and sincere, looked very much like you and I and spoke perfect English.
He explained and demonstrated the highly advanced technology of his planet, which is very similar to earth only at least two thousand years ahead of us in everything from medicine to energy.
Sad to say, their planet is dying and several million of their citizens must resettle here.
I urge all Americans and all the people of earth to welcome our new residents with open arms.
They are our friends.
They will assure that we live long healthy lives into our hundreds with virtually all debilitating diseases cured, that we will no longer rely on fossil fuel for energy, we will eliminate famine and poverty throughout the world.
