Veterans' medical costs to soar George's Personal War is bankrupting our country. I bet that is exactly what Al Qaeda wants too! Remember, we taught them this strategy when we were allies against the Soviets in Afghanistan.

Submitted by pollchecker on May 12, 2008 - 3:33pm.Isn't it Ironic that Bob Barr, a former Republican instrumental in the impeachment of President Bill Clinton is not a libertarian candidate running against a fellow republican, John McCain, who also endorsed Clinton's impeachment.
What happened between now and then?
Senator Bob Barr voted against the Patriot Act and as a direct result fell victim to Karl Rove's Republican attack dogs.
He now masquerades as a Libertarian candidate touting his voting record against the Patriot Act.
Well, you have to give him a little credit for voting for the people instead of for the party.
Now watch what he says about John McCain's being a so-called NEW KIND of Republican. Haven't we heard that before with another candidate who Karl Rove advised?
