Against all odds, the Government has found yet another way to screw over members of the military. According to this article: http://money.aol.com/news/articles/_a/rebate-exclu... military members who are married to foreign nationals who have not yet qualified for a Social Security number will not be getting the economic stimulus rebate checks. The article says this was an unintentional effect of a move by lawmakers to exclude even the possibility of giving a rebate check to one of them damned illegal immigrants. Of course a lot of them weren't paying any income taxes because they were serving in a war zone, but others who paid no taxes are getting the checks, so why not our service members who are fighting to preserve our right to cheap oil (uh I mean our right to drive SUVs, er no, wait, the right to give big fat contracts to Halliburton.)
