Yeah, right. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! How in hell does Dumbya get it in his head that congress is to blame for U.S. economic woes? He helped, boy, did he ever help!

You should have seen him up
Submitted by pollchecker on April 29, 2008 - 3:18pm.You should have seen him up there leaning on the podium, talking like someone gave a hoot!
Poor fool that he is thinks people are still listening to him. He has ALWAYS been someone who loved to hear himself talk. It wasn't hard to tell he was full of himself then just as it isn't hard to tell what a pathetic moron he is now.
I forced myself to listen,
Submitted by bryan mcclellan on April 29, 2008 - 3:43pm.I forced myself to listen, to the Head of all BOOB's as he had his little pissy s**t flinging contest. His ability for showcasing and trumpeting his capacity to deflect blame for our countries ills from his asinine self was in overdrive. The frat girlie boy in all his glory laid blame at the feet of all Americans, not just Congress.
We are the problem if we don't blindly follow him into economic purgatory and endless worldwide turmoil.
This piece of sub human elitist trash is an absolute mockery of decency and compassion. I could hear in his voice, I've got mine you commoners, tough luck, my magic wand is set for a getaway to Paraguay where I'm untouchable. And he has the nerve to call Hamas terrorists.
His memoir will surely be titled, Dumbassedness for Dummies, an easy read, all three letter words and pictures.

Actually, we are the problem - for allowing him and his merry gang to remain in power. We had/have the power to remove them and send them home - or to prison. Peloser says "impeachment is off the table." I remember the protests against the Viet Nam police action when the people started shutting down university campuses all over the country. Soon the protesters were being seen everywhere. After awhile even adults started protesting when the news media started airing more of the "real war" back to the front pages of the newspapers. Things got done because the people in congress cared more about staying in office than stroking the war machine.
News flash. Nothing has changed about the people in congress. If they are pressured by the voters they will eventually decided that listening to the voters and starting impeachment proceedings is the only way to stay in office. We, the voter, do have the power.
But, as I said at the top, we are the problem because we don't use the power we have. So, we should blame no one except ourselves.

Blind, deaf & dumb

American voters have complained, protested and sent petitions to the WH and numerous representatives demanding explanations for the job outsourcing, why we are still in Iraq and why American jobs are being sent overseas causing the unemployment rate to skyrocket here. So far, no answers; just a wall of silence from these reps who prefer to march to the drumbeat that is GWB. The Grand Old Political Machine is running full-tilt and the only way to stop it is to pull the plug.
The outsourcing of American
Submitted by old_curmudgeon on April 30, 2008 - 10:46am.The outsourcing of American jobs overseas started long before the GOP took control. My retirement was precipitated from the same. I was downsized (fired) by a manager at a major US telecom in Florida. The manager was employed by this telecom on a green card - H1B. H1B is a mechanism by which an American employer can hire a foreigner because there are no "local americans" to do the job. No managers in America? The job position was posted in a newspaper in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The position was in Tampa - no relo. So no, there were no applicants. That's how you get around that little legal hurdle.
I was very bitter. What I saw was an 52 year old American citizen, a veteran fired by a foreigner. Yeah, I was bitter.
Shortly after I was "downsized" this manger went to his home in India and hired 10 locals. This major telecom now has an office in Chennai.
This happened in 2002 but it started long before then. It's all part of the "globalization" - to blur the lines between countries.
