One cannot even read the Sunday funnies anymore without becoming outraged by this governments outright theft of our rights and prosperity. Doonesbury this morning spits out some numbers that are truly appalling in relation to what conservative government brings to the table. If these figures are indeed fact, the picture they paint only points to one conclusion. They let the money out in the form of easy credit, then they take it back by manipulating the economy with the useful little tools they call WAR, Terrorism, Nation Building, and Foreclosure. Gathering up all the blood and sweat of the masses with the stroke of a pen, the rich (Reps/Dems) are never at risk because we are but their serfs/renters, and we are forced to utilize their payday loan scheme to survive. We don't own the shirt on our backs or the fillings in our teeth. The next time someone tells me conservatism is the only way to prosperity I'm going to kick them dead in the balls and shove todays comics down their throat.

Unfortunately, this is old news, just republicized by Doonesbury. But I lay most of the blame for ruining our country at the feet of George W. Bush.
People my age (54) will be paying for his war - not just financially, but in countless other ways - for the rest of our lives, and I'm afraid that tab won't be paid in full for another generation past mine.
