Grif -- I know Ron Paul and

Grif -- I know Ron Paul and his family. He is a good guy and I wish he had won the GOP nominee. I also wish he would consider an independent bid but it's not going to happen.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Ron Paul's delegates make an impression on the GOP convention. The pundits think the heat will be at the Democratic convention, but I disagree. I think the various supporters of candidates like Ron Paul and others will make their presence known and heard at the convention.

Quite frankly if McCain was smart (which he's not), he would pick Ron Paul as his VP nominee. I realize it's not going to happen, but if I were McCain that is who my choice would be.

Nice article. Thanks for posting it.

PS -- I myself just recently learned how to keep those long web tags from messing up the home page. I used the formatting options listed below. thanks again.

Yeah, I had a brain fart

Yeah, I had a brain fart with the URL. My heart is heavy with the abuse such a great and descent man has endured. I wish I were lucky enough to know him.
