A truth rockets through space unimpeded, unquestioned, and ever gaining momentum.Unbound by the physics of justice and inquiry,a lie replete with all the angles has dire need of many a ricochet in it's quest for validation.R.I.P.Americas conscience. Our once Proud,Free,Open, and Honest Press has withered on the vine.....Any thoughts about how this will affect those who love PB&J's?

We are going to have to do
Submitted by Sandra Price on March 2, 2008 - 8:31am.We are going to have to do some soul searching. For many years, the frustration of discovering exactly what you wrote knocked many of us out of the ability to spread the truth. But, Bryan we have the internet where we can expose as much of the truth as people want. I am not fond of peanut butter anyway.

Submitted by bryan mcclellan on March 2, 2008 - 11:32am.Once we were privy to the fine wine of journalistic integrity where the press went after a story with measure not hyperbole and sensationalism.Today if a story has legs but won't appeal to the advertisers it's cut off at the knees or shuffled to the back pages and small print.I'm not a lawyer but when I hear a man like law Professor Jonathan Turley state that laws have clearly been broken by bushco I wonder where the bulldog reporter is that will take it to his teeth and not let go.Yes we have the net to help but we also need the guy /gal working under the radar with real contacts and the will to follow a lead to it's ends.I watched the 60's version of Cimmarron(Glen Ford /Oklahoma land rush)recently. Here was a man who had all the ability but not the desire to be a newspaperman. The job was thrust upon him and though unwilling he saw the injustice all around and confronted it with Integrity.Because he recognized his paper was the last bastion of truth and justice for the less fortunate compromise never raised it's ugly head in his mind.My question, where are these Journalistic mavericks today? Ps,how about grape jelly?
