Arizona Senator and Presidential candidate John McCain, whose chances to ever live in the White House are melting down faster than the polar icecaps, lost his cool in the Senate chambers this week. McCain's been so busy running for President that he hasn't had much time to be a Senator but flew into town for a rare appearance to attend a meeting on the immigration bill and deal. Reports Paul Kane of The Washington Post: During a meeting Thursday on immigration legislation, McCain and Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) got into a shouting match when Cornyn started voicing concerns about the number of judicial appeals that illegal immigrants could receive, according to multiple sources -- both Democrats and Republicans -- who heard firsthand accounts of the exchange from lawmakers who were in the room. Those who know McCain the best say his always volatile temper is getting worse as his Presidential prospects fade. The outburst this week is just the latest example. I'm just waiting for one of these political freaks (their are many) to start sucking their thumb and blabbering something about being the second coming of Jesus Christ.

I hope the McCain candidacy
Submitted by littleguypainting on May 19, 2007 - 7:16am.I hope the McCain candidacy implodes soon. His "Bomb Iran" ditty was too much, then his response when he was called on it the next day just re-enforced my opinion of him.
We need a leader this time around. McCain isn't the one.
I wouldn't worry so much

An ultra-conservative acquaintance of mine, who pretty much lock steps with Reagan/Bush neocons, says that McCain is so disliked by the "Republicans" in power that he won't get any support from them. And then every liberal blog I go to state that he's crap as well. So who's going to vote for him?

This is what we have to choose from, none of which has any intention of putting the welfare of America ahead of personal gain.The media is bought and paid for and will decide for us. Welcome to the grand experiment in self governance, sponsored by 1984. Mccain,Ghouliani,billary,obama,horse shit,cat piss tell us who/what to vote for ,we're just stupid fu-kin idiots and you the media know what's best. Why can't you pompous asses see you are being used the same as we.And remember the one who seeks office will not do for the people what is fair , rather the man who is reluctant to fill the void..........you know the rest........P.S.Johnnyboy melted long ago so he could blend in with all the other pond scum.....
McCain's Plunging Campaign

It's too bad since he seemed like a viable candidate in 2000. He certainly has strayed from all the ideals that made him popular back then.

Submitted by Kev316 on May 19, 2007 - 12:07pm.Although I may agree with a good chunk of what you're saying, there are some candidates worth looking at (Bill Richardson comes to mind). The real question that we should all be raising is do we have free and fair elections in this country? Consider voting machines and Rove's stacking the Justice Department with RNC operatives, replacing competence with "loyal Bushies".
He's My Senator, and I want him nominated.

I rather envy John, his wife is heir to the largest Beer Distributor in Arizona, that's better than being married to the tavern owner's daughter.
His double standard of seeking the endorsement of the Religious right and at the same time seeing his fortunes grow as the summers get hotter, and beer becomes more vital to survival. I don't know where he keeps his Armanis. his closet is full of bones. At least he was a real fighter pilot, unlike the man he seeks to replace.
I happen to feel like the philosophy of the immigration bill is supportable, though not ideal. It is not nearly strong enough on employer sanctions, but I don't think that was Cornyn's objection. McCain has missed so many votes in the Senate while campaigning I think his salary should be withheld. For him to claim to know as much about the bill as any other senator is laughable. The grandstanding he did while standing up for it was just a political move.
