by Maggie Van Ostrand It's sickening that the Bush Administration should only now pay attention to Americans and our economic crisis, when his minions could have done something to prevent it much sooner. Today the market is up --and just in time for the election ... what a surprise. Perhaps it's too cynical to say that Paulson saw this coming a long time ago, and so did Bernenke, and probably Greenspan. But that's how I see it. Suddenly, in the most important election year of our time, all these fat cats decide they'd better help McCain because, if Obama wins, they're going down down down. They must be laughing at us and thinking it's o.k. to do something now that their buddies are all sitting pretty, golden parachuting off the backs of the American taxpayer. We must get Obama elected. We just must!
