Dictionary.com defines maverick as: someone who exhibits great independence in thought and action That is not either John McCain or Sarah Palin. Rolling Stone has a great article linked below that offers a closer look at the life and career of John McCain revealing a disturbing record of recklessness and dishonesty.
Yes, that's right. Not only is John McCain just like GW Bush but he is actually WORSE THAN GW Bush! There are a lot better and more appropriate adjectives for John McCain like adulter, liar, war-monger, hypocrite, narcissist, pyschopath, egotist, etc. And Sarah Palin has a lot of nerve on one hand describing herself as a Maverick which clearly she is not and then trying to compare herself to the everyday American, which she's not. First of all the Every day American is NOT a hockey mom. Maybe a Soccer mom or Nascar Dad but the majority of the USA could care less about Hockey. And the everyday American doesn't have their preacher lay hands on them, speak in tongues and pray to keep them safe from voodoo. And the average American certainly doesn't support a child who is raped by their father and gets pregnant having the baby. No those ideas are ideas back by the fringe members of neo-con crazy right wing religious zealots. Well, someone should tell both John McCain, you can't be a maverick when you kiss the ass of the Republican powers that control their party on an every day basis. And someone should tell Governor Palin, you can't be a maverick when call yourself an Average American. That's an oxymoron. But I bet she doesn't even understand the meaning of that word because she obviously doesn't know what Maverick means.
