Poor Palin: at the right place at the wrong time?
No doubt that "Fate" plays a role in the lives of all of us.
The Sarah Palin "pick" has had a chance to play out in our daily lives, but at what cost?
If the McCain / Palin ticket wins in November, there is no doubt that Gov. Palin will encounter DC 'culture shock'. She also will be a literal "heartbeat" away from being the next U.S. president. This is scary stuff.
Many women don't like Palin, in fact many hate her --- period.
There is an interesting article in the Chicago Tribune on this issue
http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/columnists/chi-...
It's not a devious article and certainly it is NOT an in-depth look at the VP candidate, but it does attempt to shed some light on why women seem to hate Palin.

Ok Mary Schmich, I'll be the first. "I hate Sarah Palin." I'm a retired Air Force guy, and I believe that she's done more harm for women by teaming up with John McCain. This campain has done nothing but lie to the American public. Not a day has gone past where I haven't gotten on-line and found that they've been caught in another whopper. Even when caught in their lies on national TV in front of millions, they continue with the same lies.
Sarah, if you're listening. Tell the truth. I'll bring much more respect to you and all women. I wouldn't even think about voting for a team with John McCane on it, but you could have a much brighter future if you would just TELL THE TRUTH once in a while.
