Watching the US graple with her hydra-headed crisis, I couldn't help but think about how she got there in the first place. True, some of these problems accumulated over the years, but some; especially in the economy got out of hand because of this present government maladmnistration.

An Obama-Clinton ticket may be just what this country needs. A lot of people are put off by Hillary's aggression but one should consider the traditional role of the president and vice-president. The president has traditionally been above the fray, like an eagle soaring above the troubles of the Earth's surface.

According to conventional wisdom the antiwar movement swept Republicans out of office in the 2006 midterm elections, and the incompetent Democratic party has been throwing away what the antiwar movement won ever since. -- However, most of the Republicans swept out of office such as our local Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum happened also to be against immigration.
