Well as usual, Doug telling it like it is and today's rant is the scariest of them all. In My OPINION, the NEOCONS have realized that unless they do the full court press, NOW, that chance will FOREVER pass them by and I believe that is EXACTLY what we have here.

PNAC and it's members have taken control of the Government. This thing they call the Democratic party is the poorest excuse for a political group I have ever seen. PNAC, it's core it's ideals and goals are coming to pass and the few Republicans with a "brain" are being stepped on while the people of America remain completely disinterested,(the not affecting me personally syndrome) ((NO NOT YET PERHAPS)).

At this point in history the American public is more concerned with issues of personal safety than they are issues of individual rights. Unfortunately, there is a good possibility the pendulum will swing a lot further in that direction before it swings back.

I object to the portrayal of this as being bipartisan. It wasn't. Democrats widely opposed it. But all the opinion polls then showed that this was feeding into the Republican-fed myth that "Democrats are weak on national security." Thus, enough Democrats capitulated to do the dirty deed.

movements. Everybody has to use a federally approved and monitored bank account

Think it can't happen? I believe that we will

I've long thought that what we need is an occupation in Washington

Several of "Our Founding Fathers" were fighting for this sort of power from the beginning. These men weren't ammune from the corruption of power. This form of government requires the involvement of all its citizens. That was instantly lost when the Electoral College was formed. If you give the power to choose a President to a small number of people you will have corruption.

I read a shocking article on CounterPunch yesterday, where it seemed to be a foregon conclusion that the Nicolas Berg beheading was "almost certainly a staged event." Maybe I'm last to learn these things, because I noticed a lot of backup to this on Google. If true, I can't think of anything closer to the 4th Reich than this. Has Capital Hill Blue ever reported on this issue? If they went to this much trouble to defray public opinion during the Abu Graib scandal, this is nasty Hitleresque stuff to say the least.

Team up with Hal Turner and we can all change for the better!

The ineptness of this Administration shows that we need a better method of electing presidents. The present method is chaotic and costly, and doesn’t get the most qualified candidates. Money rather than merit determines who is elected president. Many voters are poorly qualified to judge the qualifications of the candidates and are easily influenced by negative advertising. . We cannot afford to elect any more mediocrities.
I would suggest that candidates for President be nominated by a committee composed of anyone who is or has been the Governor of a state. As a group, governors would be the best qualified to select the candidates. They would evaluate the various candidates and select several of the best qualified on the basis of experience, intelligence, and communications skills who would then be placed on the ballot. They would make their selections four months before the general election, during which time the general public could familiarize themselves with the candidates. Voters would make the final decision, by selecting all those who they found approvable. This would be more in line with what the writers of the Constitution had in mind when they specified that the President be selected by an elite body of electors. The winner would be a consensus President, who would be able to unite the country. This method would end the long and drawn-out process we have today, and be far less costly. There would be few, if any negative campaign ads which turn off the public and may be responsible for the low turnout at the polls.

What is needed is a grass roots movement to advocate a Constitutional Amendment to implement this change. This country cannot afford to elect incompetants.

President Roosevelt accused Japan of perpetrating a "Day that shall live in infamy." If Bush signs in to law this version of the Patriot Act, what he perpetrates is far more infamous than the attack on Pearl Harbor.

A lot of comments attacking the Democrats and the Republicans but no one is EVEN CONSIDERING third parties. has anyone even entertained the thought that the Libertarian Party is the only party that BELIEVES in and SUPPORTS the Constitution? Instead of voting along party lines, or the lessor of two evils, maybe we should start putting other people in office. After all, we didn't get this way overnight.

You don't need them all to "wake up", although that would be ideal and would make your life easier.

It all depends on who you are able to get into your 1/3 camp. In light of the fact that a state is no longer a state without a loyal security apparatus, I suggest starting with the military, ex-military, and police. Not all of them are happy with the current situation, by any means.

Cheney shot and wounded a fellow hunter to a level of seriousness emergency care was called upon. What other facts did V.P. Cheney feel he needed to be prepared with before reporting his actions? The truth is, . . . V.P. Cheney did not want the true condition to be known. Period!

Miss Borger also claimed the statement of saying, . . . "V.P. Cheney is the most powerful and influential V.P. she has ever seen." If this was true, he wouldn't have hid himself from the public, and from the truth.

Gloria Borger reported to say, . . . That there was no 'Plan B" within the Bush administration in regards to Whittington suffering a heart attack. Of course not. It was also stated on 'Newshour', it has been more than two hundred years since a V.P. or a President shot someone. Excuse, but we are not ALL deaf, dumb, and blind to the facts. NOT ALL SHOOTINGS AND ASSASSINATIONS GET REPORTED. Most likely, if V.P. Cheney had things his way, he would have rather left the scene of his actions in a full term, not just for a day or so.

Why do people like Miss Borger believe the mass should not be given knowledge of the events in every day living? Who are they to run and rule "LIFE" without the rest of the runners? Without the panel of society, there would be no one watching them. For they must bore themselves and each other with their inept and idle chatter. Why does the public watch such foolishness? So we can discern and screen out the wise from the fools, the truth from the fiction, and the good from the bad.

So now in summary, . . . As it is true to agree with, . . . V.P. Cheney is not a Vice as one may place his position of being behind President Bush. V.P. God wants us to be perfect. Through the understanding of knowledge, and through the wisdom of knowing him, ALL things are possible for those who believe! God has already prepared and cleared our path. It is through our free will if we will follow his leading or not. If so, the “good news” is kept. Maybe we should all look at our selves in the mirror,us Brits and you Americans.
Over here on this side of the proverbial 'pond'the picture that we see is not atractive at all. America tends to boast that that it is the greatest and most powerful nation on earth but America's foreign policy is largely fuelled by 'fear' post 9/11.
On the American Revolution I should say that it was not about challenging a corrupt and greedy monarch.It was rather a natural progression for a colony to pursue its own manifest destiny.It was about taxation and it was about non represntation (i.e at Westminster) and it was about a mother nation somewhat ineptly seeking ways to pay for the crippling costs of the Severn Years War and having with the aquisition of Canada more territory than it could possibly adminster well.It was a time of triumph and but it was also a time of sorrow (too easily forgotten)for the third of the population that made up the 'Empire Loyalists',and the division it made between two fine (I don't use the word 'great') nations.The American Revolution I am afraid is history and in history it should remain.But I do feel sorrow for the African and Native Americans who lost out.Thanks Sue for Longfelow's fantastic epic poem 'Paul Revere's Ride'!.
But as cousins I think that we have put history behind us,and it should stay history.And no the Inns of Court have no dominion in America!They would split their sides if they were told that just as they would if they were told the secrets of the Da Vinci Code lay in the Temple Church,off the Strand in London.

America is a very powerful nation and we modern British are happy that it is so.We are eternally grateful for the sacrifice of so many American servicemen and women (black and white) at D Day in 1944 dying for our freedom from Nazi tyranny as much as for the liberation of France.

One doesn't need to watch any documentary made by Alex Jones or anyone else to know 911 was merely “a caper.” President Bush’s face expression and reaction told the whole story!

There is a news article that expresses the truth regarding the explosion of 911. The article was spoken by an employee who was in one of the Twin Towers and felt and witnessed an under ground explosion and fire BEFORE any airplane struck either tower. This eyewitness report has been silenced through the mass media. Surprised?

Fact: Alex Jones does not give concern of what is right and what is wrong. He is just another party of sales!

It is a grave shame so many people have fallen onto President Bush’s spell of “Deception.” Does any know who President Bush truly is in reality? When one studies THE TRUTH, they will learn without a doubt, PB is, . . . “The son of perdition.”

Pedro, I do not claim to be any denomination of Faith, for I refuse to follow man's traditions and doctrine. These are two reasons to why, man is without the sound base of God.

Pedro, . . . Do you know how someone becomes perfect? Through Love, . . . which is God. Through God, (Through Love), man becomes perfect. Not perfect in the view of man's eyes, but perfect through the eyes of God.
When God witnesses man believing and living according to his faith, . . . man is then considered being perfect in “God’s will.”

When man is living and believing according to God’s faith, . . . man is then considered being in the presence of God. In the time of joy, and in the time of distress, God gives pleasure to rejoice as he gives pleasure in healing the broken in heart. This is the “purpose of God.” God keeps man company through all times Pedro.

Pedro, . . . How does man know love, if man doesn’t know hate? How does man know peace, if man doesn’t know war? How does man know good, if man doesn’t know evil?

Yes. God created good and evil. Yes. God tempts man with good and evil. Yes. God may present himself to man as an unjust being, a cruel unknown entity, . . . But Pedro, where does fault actually lay? . . . In God, or in man?

Pedro, let’s not forget, . . . Man was created in perfect image of God. It was Eve who brought man to shame, through the falling of temptation. Who was the tempter that came unto Eve in the garden? God. God appeared to Eve in the symbol of a serpent.

Pedro, . . . God wants us to be content in ALL situations. God has promised, . . . All things work out for good for those who believe and who do not faint. And Pedro, God cannot lie, . . . It is not in the nature of God to deceive his creation.

If man knew the “will and purpose of the Creator,” they would understand the love of the Father. If man understood the love of the Father, they would accept the life and death of his son, Jesus.

But does everyone comply with the simple request of God, to, . . . "Follow me." No. Many people do not. Why not? For many people do not understand to acknowledge his request. Why not? For they do not "Follow him," to learn!

God is VERY simple once you get to know him. How do you get to know him? "FOLLOW HIM." HOW? Read his word and follow his instructions by faith.

Personally, I do not live for anyone. I live for God, and have for more than thirty-two years. By doing so, my service is given unto his creation, such as I am sharing with you at this time.

There is no one that can tell me there is no existence of the Holy Spirit, or the Heavenly Father, or of Jesus Christ. I visit with the trinity of LOVE every day. Beginning in the morning hour when I gracefully rise, until the evening hour when I peacefully sleep.

Through the testimony of my life, you would see the true existence of God's love, his tests and his trials. Please understand Pedro, until you fully desire to know God's word, he will not make himself fully known to you. When man decides to make an effort in understanding God's wisdom, man will then begin to understand the simple way of God.

What is the way of God Pedro? To see if man will believe in him, and follow him, by faith and not by sight.

For those who faithfully follow and adore God, God offers his favor over them. For those who faithfully follow themselves and scorn God, God offers his wrath over them.

God is not a hateful being toward man, but man is a hateful being without God. Don’t forget Pedro, God is love, and without God in man, there is no love in man. Man’s interpretation of love is not in comparison to the love given through the eyes of God. Look at the number of troubles man falls under through their interpretation and testimony of love.

God is a justifiable being. He bears watch over those who are oppressed by the evil doers in life. He especially watches over the widows, the fatherless, the orphans, and the poor.

Pedro, God would hope for NONE to perish, but God knows, . . . through man's "free will," there will be many who will fall into damnation. Not at the fault of God, but at the fault of man's greedy and contemptuous heart.

God gives man an “OPPORTUNITY” to change the testament of prophesy. But will men follow God’s leading of instruction to, . . . “PRAY,” so he can heal our land? No. Man’s “free will,” will not gather to pray. So therefore, the prophetic testament gifted us in the book of Revelations will be followed through, all the way unto the last word.

Pedro, do you know and understand the testament of the book of Revelations? It tells us precisely what to expect and watch out for. I for one have reread the Scriptures several times, as I continue to read each day. For as God’s word is read, more revelations are given. God does not give man anything until we are prepared to receive it.

God says, . . . Pray for our enemies.
Why do you think God tells us this Pedro?

First: We are to pray for our enemies because, . . . We are not warring flesh against flesh. We are fighting against principalities. (Spirits).

Second: We are to pray for our enemies because, . . . To curse our enemy who is our fellow-man, we are cursing God. For God created "all" mankind.

Third: We are to pray for our enemies because, . . . We are not to only overcome evil, but we are to overcome evil with good.

Fourth: We are to pray for our enemies because, . . . To show ourselves approved by God.

Fifth: We are to pray for our enemies because, . . . By praying for them, they are kept at peace with us. How could this be? Think about it Pedro.

Through man’s "free will," we are given the opportunity of being "good spirited" or "evil spirited." When a person stands before you, and chooses to become enemies with you, you have a choice of two options. Either you can see it is a test from God, or you can react from emotion and attack in defense. If you choose to be wise, God will NOT permit harm to come unto you. At best, your enemy can become your best friend. If not, at least your enemy may be touched by your reaction, and someday want to come to know God.

Sixth:: We are to pray for our enemies because, . . . As we pray for them, we remain in peace within ourselves. Being at peace within ourselves, we are at peace with God.
‘Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children of God’.

Seventh: We are to pray for our enemies because, . . . We don’t know who the angels have just entertained.

Pedro, I don't abhor the Devil. Because there is NO DEVIL to abhor. I understand the word devil and demons are used in Scripture, but please read the following:

To reiterate, . . . God tempts man through man’s free will. Man either falls unto the temptation of evil or he refrains from the seduction of temptation. If man falls and chooses to welcome in the seduction of temptation, man is actually allowing demons, A.K.A., as unclean spirits to enter into his soul. [Devils, demons, are the definition leading to: "unclean spirits." SEVEN in total]

Pedro, when you read the Old Testament, you will find, . . . God places evil in men to test other men. To better understand God, you need to read all of him. Not just the Old or the New, but the full context of the Holy Scriptures. For that is when you, will be given the “FULLNESS OF THE TRUTH!”

This I know for sure. When you get to know who, God is, and what God is all about, you’ll learn more about yourself, God, man, and God’s full creation. In proper order of time, you’ll get to know all things through the will and purpose of God. It may seem that I am repeating myself, . . . but God is connected to everything and every person on an equal balance. One has a relation with the other at all times.

Pedro, logic is not an enemy of faith. Logic is man's interpretation of reasoning. To which, God says not to follow. For it will lead you unto the pathway of unrighteousness. It is “UNRIGHTEOUSNESS” that is the enemy to God’s Holy Spirit. And who do you think created unrighteousness? The bogie-man? God created a contrast of himself to test man’s free will.
Simple enough?

In my heart, God is not strange, . . . for God is not a "stranger" to me. God is only a “strange stranger” to those who do not know him!

I have come to know my Heavenly Father more than I have ever known of my earthly father. And through the knowing of God, I can say this, . . . There are two types of people in the world, . . . I also know this, . . . In the near future, there will be many heart wrenching events, that will tear those who are weak minded and weak spirited, apart! These events will cause a division between the true believers and followers of Christ, from those who just offer lip service. Advisement: If one is not covered by the blood of Jesus, he or she will not survive!

Does God hope that one should perish? Of course not. But apparently, man’s nature is stubborn and rebellious against God. Even with all of the visible warning signs, man continues to ignore God. The nature of man prefers satisfying the lustful desires, rather than, heeding unto the fear of God.

God says, . . . the son’s of God will have no fear. And this is true! The only fear I bear is the fear of going against God’s will and purpose! What is God’s, will and purpose? Simply, . . . To love each other and to worship him, and rejoice in his word. BOTTOM LINE!

Pedro, please read the New Testament of the KJV. In the New Testament, Jesus speaks about the devil being unclean spirits and fowls of the air. The devil is not a particular beast. Devils and demons are "unclean spirits," in the image of a beast.

Proverbs 24:19, . . . "Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked";
Proverbs 24:20, . . . "For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out."

I think what hurts me the most is that Bush and company are doing these satanic things while claiming to be Christ followers. In doing so, they give both America and Christianity a bad name.
